Why do we send marketing email to warm contacts only?
Because the platform that sends our newsletters also sends our clients' reports. If cold addresses got that platform banned, the reports would stop too. So newsletters go only to people who already know us.
What counts as warm
- Current clients.
- Past clients.
- People who have replied to us.
- People who asked to hear from us.
What happens to everyone else
People who have never heard from us are not added to the newsletter list. If we reach out to them at all, it is one person writing from a normal mailbox, in small numbers, after the address has been verified.
Why this matters to a client
The same thinking applies to a client's own sending address. A sender's reputation is slow to build and quick to lose. An assistant who protects it is protecting every email the business will send next year.
Where this comes from
This is how our own team works every day. It is not taken from one client.
