Lead generation and outreach

Why do we never email a client's own prospects?

Because a lead list we build for one client belongs to that client. Before any outreach of our own goes out, we check it against every client's lead pool and remove anyone who appears there.

The problem it prevents

An assistant team that does lead generation for several businesses holds several lists. Without a rule, the same builder or agency could hear from a client and from us in the same week. That is confusing for the person receiving it and unfair to the client who paid for the list.

How the check works

  • Every client's lead pool is kept separate.
  • Our own outreach list is compared against all of them before a single message goes out.
  • Anyone who appears in a client's pool is removed from ours.
  • Outreach to people who do not know us goes out in small, verified daily batches, never as one large send.

Who is responsible

The assistant running the outreach owns the list. Tools help with matching and checking addresses. A person decides who is contacted and signs off the batch.
