How fast can a Shopify store be built from a written brief?
In one case of ours, about a week. A retailer sent written instructions on a Friday, we spoke the next day and again two days later, and the store project was handed over the following week.
What made it quick
- The client wrote down what they wanted before the first call.
- A set-up call settled open questions early.
- A follow-up call two days later caught changes while they were still small.
- One person built and designed it, so nothing waited between people.
What was built
The store itself, a hero banner, category banners and graphics for each product collection.
What a week does not include
A week covered the build and the design. It did not cover product photography, a large catalogue or ongoing store management. Those take as long as they take, and we would say so at the start.
