Can my store get a seasonal look without a rebuild?
Yes. A seasonal look is a banner, a hero image, a few colour accents and a promotion strip. It goes up on a set date and comes down on a set date, and the store underneath does not change.
What changes
- The top banner and the main image.
- A few accent colours.
- A promotion strip, if there is an offer.
- A seasonal landing page only when an offer needs one.
The two rules
- It is built and previewed first, and goes live only after the owner says yes.
- It has a start date, an end date and a named person who takes it down.
Why the end date matters most
A Halloween look still up in the middle of November looks worse than no look at all.
